acu for everyone

Acupuncture has been practiced in group settings for centuries, allowing for affordability, practitioners to move easily between treatments, and participants to share in a quiet, healing space. In North America, this style of acupuncture, commonly called community acupuncture, has roots in activist groups advocating for accessible care for all.

Acu for everyone includes community acupuncture “pop-ups,” taking place in various locations around Kjipuktuk (Halifax, NS), as well as here at sunmoon room. It is a humble effort to increase accessibility through multiple locations, and sliding-scale rates.

Our next acu for everyone event be held on November 13th 3-5pm at sunmoon room, 5663, Nora Bernard Street. This session will an auricular acupcuntre day with Lauren Hill, R.Ac, which means only ear points will be used, for nervous system regulation and stress relief.
